killer instinct gold was good as, i remember picking it up from kmart for only $4.99 on special......even before the gamecube was released!

No im pretty sure the snes version was by rare as well so unfortunatly no chance on seeing it on VC

I loved that game especially the theme music "kill uh uh uh uh uh uhh" "ready" lol. I'd pick them up on VC.
Got pretty tired of people using Glacius and repeatedly doing that melting uppercut over and over...remember? you melt slide over to them and pop up...no better than button mashers!

me too it was good to play at home to learn combos then go to arcades and kick its butt

man it was the most killer fighting game of its time and still is now!! I still have killer cd! I still even have the original box that it came with original game that came as a combo with an arcade stick for the Snes! Its a the best fighting game ive come across so far on Nintendo...

What im trying to say is that its just as good as Street Fighter and
and in terms its the most original that Rare could come up with on SNES and N64. But dont get me wrong nuthing beats a good Street Fighter. And yeh! i even own a upright arcade of Street Fighter 2 which is great for bring friends around to have a go on it and having a heaps of fun playing against them or just taking in turns of single player! Im also a big fan of Street Fighter Series and KI! I think they come pretty close up together side by side.. but thats just my opinion since i like most fighting games. I means theres tons more of fighting games like MK3 and SSB thats just as good to see some 2D fighters around as well as 3D Beat'em ups.

I played KI on the SNES to death but i loved KI Gold the most. I mastered it with everyone, especially T.J. Combo, i cant even remember the size of the combos i used to pull off, but i could drain an opponents total life points using one awesomely linked combo and finish it off with the Ultra combo. I wish i could remember how many hits i used to pull off lol. Took me a long time to master linking it all properly.

ahhhh, the memories. Jago, ORchid, and my personal fave Sabrewulf. i wonder if Rare will ever pick up where they left off, but i doubt it, since of that time, KI was seen as Street Fighter in different clothes.
