Another movie with a terrible ending, I Am Legend. I also would have liked the film to go for a bit longer. There's an alternative ending to it of which I have not seen but most of the times the alternate ending is either just as bad if not worse than the normal ending.

Shawshank Redemption is still my favourite.

*SPOILERS* The alternate ending is basiclly that Will Smith doesn't commit sacrificial suicide ( ) and saves the zombie chic who got cured and they go together and live happily ever after in a zombie infested country-side.

Somethin like that.

Well for starters, all of you should run to the apple trailers site and check out not only the preview for Untraceable, but also Wall-E. I reckon Wall-E is going to be great, i'll take my daughter to see that one. As for other movies, well I Am Legend was great, 30 Days of Night was great, all the SAW movies are great. I also love V for Vendetta, The Wrong Man, Be Cool, Sin City, Transformers, Fearless, 1408, Lord of War, The X-Men/Matrix/LOTR/Spiderman trilogies and heaps of others. My legit DVD collection is getting quite huge. Im keen to see Ironman and Street Kings, and have a wierd fetish for natural disaster movies like Sunshine, The Day After Tomorrow, Volcano, The Core, Armageddon, Deep Impact, Dantes Peak, 10.5 etc etc.

Im surprised they didnt think of it sooner. Its set in Alaska (i think) where they get hit with 30 Days of Night over winter, which is the perfect premise for a Vampire movie. Think about it, there arent many good Vampire movies. There is the Blade Trilogy, Underworld 1&2, Queen of the Damned, and thats about it. 30 Days of Night is up there with the best vampire movies IMO.

Its wierd how Fearless was marketed as Jet Li's final martial arts film (it even says it on the case) but it was quickly followed by Rouge Assassin (not a bad movie!) and Forbidden Kingdom? What the!

Underworld is good.... not to mention Kate Beckinsdale is hot!
I would get the movie then, hope it doesn't scare me...

saw that movie yesterday, i really enjoyed it. with all the crap superhero movies coming out this one is one of the good ones if not the best.
Just finished watching 2001: a space odyssey. i read the book first so i was really looking forward to seeing it but what i got was crap-a-palooza 08'. its as if the person who made it read the blurb of the book and then forgot he was making a film based on a book half way through! its pretty dated but i would like to see a remake of this, the book is great and with todays technology the film would be awesome.
the movies i'm looking forward too are the new indie jones movie, new batman movie, hanc0ck and the new bond film
