There have been 3rd party releases which don't interest but many of them are also on other consoles. I think they hold off on the good ones because they're afraid "What next?" Once Zelda, Mario, Metroid are released, what's it got to offer. So they spread the release out.

Once they're out, at least the PS3 will be cheaper (and maybe smaller too).

Yes & XBox360 has also been out for a year now. What ground breaking Exclusives where on XBox360 with in the first 6 months that wern't on PC? So for PS3 FF XIII, DMC, RE, a 101 more sport sequels from EA what Isn't predictable or comming out on XBox as well?

MS just anouced a keypad to slot with in the XBox360 controller so its easy to type mesages with MSN.

Nintendo's consoles sell well in the countries with big market shares in video games, and the consoles sell well because there awesome....but here in Australia, they suck.
If you live in Japan and have a DS there gonna be sweet because there are hundreds of great titles but here in Aust. my DS collects dust because well there aren't any good games.
Example: Both of the Trauma Series games for DS & Wii. I wanted one of these games really bad and I didn't care which system I got it on....BUT! They wont come out here and so gamers here have to rely on stuff like the Wiikey....

Yeah if you haven't seen the PS3 grill movie on youtube you should. And I don't know about groundbreaking OtPulse, but R* presents Table Tennis and PREY were both very highly scored and they had GOOD games, things that you actually want to buy and play like DOA or lesser games like Kameo and PD. Yeah and Des once again re-raises my point that PC's are at least half a gen ahead for a bad one alone...

Yes, within a year or eighteen months PCs will rival or surpass the PS3, especially with Quad-Core CPUs coming out, and especially when the 8800GTX falls in price and gets some stable drivers.

First thing I'm going to do if I win Lotto? See if I can hook two Quad-Cores in parallel and put two 8800GTXs in SLI. Stick 8GB of RAM and a Sound Blaster X-Fi Elite in there too. Won't need to upgrade for years.

all i meant before max was that people say 'the graphics arent good enough' and complain about it, when the wii is the wii, if they want a super machine, then go buy something else

alot of people here must have short attention spans, as i had my wii for 5 months, with zelda, wii play and wii sports, and no wifi, and i still had fun everyday...

As I said before, I have a pimped PC, a DS and a Wii, and my PC is currently getting the most attention. This is only because I have new games for it. Once I buy a new Wii game, I'll play my Wii non-stop, until I get a game on another system and play that one. It's not about systems or graphics or control schemes, it's about games. Hell, I had my Gamecube standing around while I played twenty-year-old text adventures.

The point is that games aren't on the Wii yet. Once the post-launch lull is past, we can properly gauge the value of the Wii in this generation.
