1) Bad, last gen-graphics.
2) Crappy games(dev. companies don't want to touch the motion sensing, it's hard to program especially with that type of MS not being used on other consoles).
3) Bad first party games; Zelda:TP was a GCN game, Wario-ware and cooking mama are just better on the DS.
4) It was released way too early, does anyone else see the reasoning in making a console before the most anticipated "launch" titles are even ready?
5) Ninty skimped on any form of home theatre entertainment(cough*GCN*cough) a DVD player would have even sufficed especially since they got our hopes up early on when they stated that there WOULD be a DVD player built in.
6) The motion-sensing is less than expected, as it's off and does a little spastic dance when it's moved off screen too much...
7) The controller is bought in 2 or more separate parts AND costs too much, it's like sony going ok here is the sixaxis for the RRP of $69.95 and then you can go buy the Right trigger buttons and the control sticks for the RRP of $29.95....

Overall the Wii is just another reason for fanboys to hide their true feelings about the console and just brush it off, trying to confirm their 400 big ones were well spent and that their white piece of crap is "revolutionary"...

No Probs Koj, lol. And yes I know they promised us a release then but think about it, wouldn't you prefer to get a console when some good games were on it? or at lease due for release in the next 3 months?

Every one has a DVD player and if it was built in most people wouldn't bother using it anyway because thats why we by DVD players.
You buy a game system to play games!
If i wanted a blueray player or HD DVD player i would go to the shop and buy one, a player thats designed to play movies.

Yes but the 360 has some great upcoming titles and others on the horizon, and every one of the PS3's good titles are "upcoming"(lol). The Wii has the predictable Nintendo first party titles coming and a couple of "It looks cool so far" titles(DOD,TC:SO). I'm a HUGE ninty fanboy(that is pretty much the only reason I bought the Wii) so don't school me on "well if you don't like Nintendo switch"...

Take for example the Novint Falcon www.novint.com/ which would essentially be a joystick with constant force feedback, aside from the fact that it can let you feel texture. At E3 a reporter from Gizmondo taped a demonstration where Novint's salesman would apply different textures to a sphere (cobblestone, ice, sandpaper), and the Falcon would reproduce it (solid with gaps, slippery, very rough) in the reporter's hand. The Falcon is released in the States on the 18th of June for US$239 (so around AU$300, counting freight costs), and comes with support for Half-Life 2. It's safe to say that the driver can be applied to other Source games easily. I hope they make generic drivers for it so I can play other shooters and RTS.
