Actually, yes, I do find that annoying. It's an attitude that Sony fostered during the N64/PS1 wars, and was swallowed hook, line and sinker by the demographic Sony was targeting.
- Sony would show CG cut-scenes and all the ignorant casual gamers (Sony's market) would say, "Yeah, realistic graphics, Sony rules", etc, etc. (Then they'd play the actual game and *still* refuse to acknowledge that their 32-bit systems had *inferior* graphics to Nintendo's *64-bit* console.)
Goddamnit, I *hate* Sony.

For casual gamers, it's all about the graphics. For serious gamers, it's the gameplay. I don't know a single hardcore gamer who doesn't appreciate the Wii for what it is, i.e., a revolution in gameplay mechanics.
If you want hardcore shooters, buy a '360. If you want fun games/gameplay, buy a Wii. It's that simple. (I have both.)
If you want to waste $1000.00 on a machine with no games and very few on-line users, buy a PS3...

Oh yeah? I would have thought that the best-selling console, the Wii, would "reign supreme".
The '360 is going to have a good Christmas sales period, but nothing like the Wii and DS will have. Nintendo is going to absolutely *dominate* this holiday season.

BUT I am getting old and fat so I can't be bothered with what others say. Most important thing to remember is that Nintendo is killing the comp both in console and handheld. Which means plenty of cash to make innovative and fun games/platform for years to come.
