What do you use to DOWNLOAD music?

Hey there guys & gals

I need some advice/help where to dload music from (mp3, wma etc ect...).
I don't want a program where the files are drowned in 'viruses' i just want one that you guys use to dload music files and a trustworthy one.

Use itunes and buy them

Usually the viruses are the one that copy your search query exactly. For example, if you search: Bonkers - Dizzee Rascal

And you get results like:
bonkers - dizzee rascal
bonkers - dizzee rascal [cd quality]
bonkers - dizzee rascal [256bit]

No capitals on the letters, and odd file sizes, they're usually viruses. Always go for the ones at the top of the list that have the highest numbers as they're the most reliable.

I used to get them from iTunes but now that I have a walkman I will never use iTunes again. Recently I've buying my tracks direct from the artists website.

And anyway I thought if you downloaded it using iTunes its stuck with an iPod and only can be used on a certain amount of computers and a bunch of other lame ****.

I do what Guyver said, download directly from the artists website. More money they can get the better, that and you get to do what you want with it once you've bought it, as you should be able to.

And I play them in Winamp, just as I have been for more than a decade because Winamp is fricken awesome. If you are smart enough to use it (attempting to be condescending there but more likely being realistic) you'll see how much better it is than iTunes. Muuuuuch.

1) No, it can be "unlocked" and used elsewhere.

uTorrent is better. Used Azureus which is now Vuze exclusively right up until recently when I got sick of how bloated it had become. uTorrent is also MILES faster.. Vuze tries to do too much, Azureus 2.5 was the last decent version before it became the fat bloated waste of space it is now.

uTorrent is like 250kb and just downloads torrents. If I wanted a Media Player I'd use....shock horror...a Media Player!
