I'll call them on Monday as they are not open now.
I'm hoping that they will just sell my a wii itself, without the powersupply and controllers etc.... I've heard of them doing it for someone else before.

I think Nintendo would repair it, but they'd probably remove the chip at the same time

Yeah they might remove the chip, but the point is it is out of warranty, the graphics card is playing up + the drive doesn't work anymore, so I'm hesistant to spend much on it... If I could pick up a wii ( just the box, no power supply of anything for around $200) then it might be worthwhile.
