Wii Hardware \ 576i or 480p via component

Hi everyone,

I am about to buy a Panasonic 800 series 1080p 50" plasma TV and was wondinering if any other members have their Wii connected to a large 1080p TV via the component cable? If so, which mode 576i or 480p do games look better on your TV?
