Firt of all, Nintendo's games has been dissapointing to say the least, as I and other people have stated.
For a company who you say emphasizes gameplay and fun, unfortunately I found mario galaxy lacking in both. Pretty sad if that was the only game you were looking foward to in 2007.
I would also say that those categories aren't so clear cut - there are games that go past 'great' and are outstanding. I'd definitely put RE4, oot, mass effect, in the outstanding category.
But certainly not zelda tp, or mario galaxy.
Out of Wii's 2008 lineup, I'd only be interested in mario kart, okami, bwii2, zack and wiki, and, that's all of I can think of. I'd also rank those games as good, not great.
Games I look foward to out of xbox 360's 2008 lineup: splinter cell conviction, fable 2, gears of war 2, mass effect 2 (wishful thinking), rainbow 2 vegas, GTAIV, too human, silent hill 5, Star wars: force unleashed, fall out 3, banjo kazooie 3, and alan wake (hopefully). I'd rank those games as good - outstanding. not to mention there are a lot more good (possibly great) games that I haven't mentioned.
How you can say that most games on 360 or ps3 don't hold a candle to nintendo's games if you haven't played them? (Not that you'll ever pick up an xbox to play bioshock, mass effect or w/e.)
Again, what else would I expect when talking to a Nintendo fan except a whole lot of garbage, lol.
