As for the colours, I would probably go the silver or black if I had to. But from all the pictures I have seen, the base does not match the console, I think if they made the colours match (yeas I am aware they don't match on the wite original one, but you can accept the difference on that one because it is the original) I think they would be onto a winner.

I like Black. I would just get a new shell to install on my Wii, but once I open it up, I would have no idea where to begin. But I have seen some people on Youtube switch out their cases. One guy got a clear one and installed a bunch of Blue LEDs in it. It is so cool. Plus all the LEDs pulse with the sound of the Wii. I don't know what what's called when the lights do that, but it's cool.
