KONAMI brings its much loved soccer franchise and critically acclaimed sports sim to the Nintendo Wii in early 2008.

The game is set to be released in the first quarter of 2008, with KONAMI stating that the game is well into development. The game, while maintaining certain aspect of the 360 and PS2 versions, will have adjustments made to it so it can adjust to the Wii controller and make full use of the nunchuck and Wii-mote.

"We are extremely keen to introduce PES to as wide a selection of football fans as possible, and the Wii and its unique abilities are a perfect fit,” commented Jon Murphy, Pro Evolution Soccer Team Leader for Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH. “The potential for PES on the format is enormous, and we look forward to a very exciting start to 2008.”
