The Conduit has been highly anticipated and even hyped. Fortunately it wasn't over hyped to the extent of Smash Brothers on the wii, which started revealing details on a website almost a year before it hit Australian shores. When reading the review I am under the impression it has been compared to shooters on other consoles. The XBox360 and PS3 have an embarrassing riches of shooters and, in comparison, The Conduit doesn't offer anything revolutionary (apart from a control scheme) or unique. However on the wii, shooters are as rare as a trophy in Adelaide United's cabinet. So this is a welcome addition. The online mode, the bit that will keep you coming back for months on end, does experience lag but also has its good moments. When you add wiispeak to the mix it is predicted to be the 'must buy' component of The Conduit. As a stand alone solo mode it offers 8 hours and a bit of replay for perfectionists. Thankfully the online mode - and variety of modes - will keep you coming back. I'm buying it

The Conduit is not a revolutionary first-person shooter, but it's a damned good one, particularly if you only own a Wii

Golden Eye had a license to kill mode. Perfect Dark also had a mode for one hit kills. Even SSBB had super sudden death. If this game has a one shot kill mode - timed or otherwise - I dont think I'd be able to stop playing it. Kerrby said: Wait so you reviewed IGNs review of this game? No, I summerised it. The news section is for reporting news, not copying and pasting it.
