News \ QWERTY Keyboard Designed for Wii

Logic3 have announced that they will be brining the QWERTY keyboard to the Wii, giving gamers an alternative to the Wii Remote for text input. The keyboard, made specifically for the Wii will feature 32 keys and will make use of the USB ports on the rear of the Wii console. The keyboard will assist in typing in the Wii Internet Channel or when sending messages to friends.

QWERTY Keyboard Designed for Wii

The 2.4Ghz wireless keyboard will come with the required USB dongle and will be powered by 2 AAA batteries. It will be released in the UK for £14.99, approximately AUD$30, there has been no information on when we will see the device arrive in Australia.

I really don't see anything wrong with it. There's an abundance of useless money grabbing accessories for the Wii. Just check out all the poorly molded pieces of plastic out there that claim to enhance a specific game. Logitech make pretty good products and a compact wireless keyboard for the Wii would be handy.
