Paper Mario Description:

Paper Mario is a graphically innovative game that breaks the confines of the RPG genre. Now slimmed down, everyone's favorite plumber flips, spins, jumps, and hammers his way through scads of exotic worlds that teem with a huge and hugely entertaining supporting cast. Players control numerous characters, both old and new, in a complex, nonlinear story that follows different scenarios depending on player choices. A dizzying collection of spells, attacks, skills, and special items can be collected by players willing to thoroughly explore the lush 3-D environments!

I don't think it does make you go faster. After you do a spin, you stop for a bit, so I think you end up going the same speed anyway.

Should test it out. Time how long it takes to get from A to B doing it both ways.


The way I do it is just before he slows down after the spin, I tap 'A' to do a small jump.

haha, but that's the joy of Paper Mario! It does get annoying for the smaller enemies after a while, but you can get a badge that lets you defeat weaker foes with one hit. I kinda like that battle system. It sucks at first, because you don't have many choices, but once you get a bit through the game and have more badges and tecniques for defeating your enemies it's fun working out the best way to kill them the fastest.

The thing that really annoys me when I play this, is that Mario walks so damn slow! It's so frustrating! Just run you fat plumber! haha.
