I currently own a Netgear router but I can’t set it up with the WII so I’m buying a new router. Could anyone suggest a fast yet reliable router that is compatible with the WII system?

my netgear wouldn't work at first, but that was because I had turned on the access list, turn it off and it's perfect.

My Netgear DG834G works like a dream with my Wii and other devices, such as my Xbox 360. You shouldn't need to upgrade it, just like others have said, make sure the router is configured properly.

get a gaming router they are 299 but they are worth it.... the router it self forces priority of bandwidth to the gaming console so u never have to worry about other people stealing ur net while playing
