Okay this afternoon I walked into EBgames with a whole bag of Wii Games (about 7games) in one hand, and a K-Mart Catologue in the other hand, to trade-in or return a recently bought game to buy the Wii Zapper and some Wii points. I had quite a few plans to get them whether it was price matching, returning games, or trading in games.
The game I was going to return was Mario and Sonic at the Olympics, because I'd pretty much finished it and it was only a good multiplayer game now. When I bought it 9 days ago they said I could take it back anytime before January 24th, they have this deal every year and I'm sure most of you know about it.
Okay so after waiting 20mins in the line I finally worked my way to the front of the line.
I tell the guy I want to price match the Wii Zapper to $44 and would like the 2000 Wii Points Card.
He spots the bag full of games I'm holding and tells me you have to be 18 now to trade in games.. thats one plan crossed out on my list.
Thankfully I still had the Mario and Sonic at the Olympics game to return. He checks the receipt and tells me that its 2 days over the 9 day return, I quickly reply with the Holiday Return Deal stating I can take it back anytime until Jan 24th.
He goes "Sorry, but you said it wasn't a Christmas present. So you can't return it"
Me "Well the staff member I bought it off told me that I could take it back anytime before January 24th. So maybe you all should tell us the facts before trying to rip us off"
