What is one of the features you have heard about that you are looking forward to about Corruption.

For me it would personally have to be the control scheme, but the main part is the new combat scheme. They have seemed to fuse to awesome lock and strafe of the original 2 metroid games, YET at the same time give you the freedom and accuracy of Hunters!

By this i mean how you lock onto an enemy, and that enemy then becomes what your centre screen is, and what you strafe around. But while you are doing this you also have the free-aim being able to shoot anything you want!

I have personally played this game, great fun, awesome controls!

What do you think will be the best part?

For sure. Its going to add a new level of depth to the game and fully engage you more into the story and mood of the game.

Well your comment has upped my enthusiasm for considering this game. I haven't played a Metroid game yet, apart from a bit of the first one that I keep forgetting to go back to...

I think the controls are what is pulling me towards making the purchase. Seeing vids of how the Wiimote works with this game is what made me consider it in the first place. Maybe it's time for me to jump on the Metroid bandwagon.

The controls are fantastic. Aiming is beautifully responsive; sharp but steady, you don't feel like you're wobbling the controller at all. The usual WASD analog stick works well in combination with the Wiimote for both Samus' regular form and as the morph ball.

There are some unique and novel uses of the Wiimote that you'll encounter that add to the immersion; something that you'll miss on other consoles. Simple actions like repair welding or removing objects with the correct hand movements were well thought out, it feels good to have a more natural control of Samus.

I might get around to writing a review if I'm up for it later.

Yes, thats old. Cham, check everywhere it's the 8th of November. I new that date AGES ago, I even made a thread.

ok but seriously I want the 3rd installment of the the trilogy so I'll have the full set and I'm looking forward to the new lock on system, the ability to stay locked onto a target and still be able to shoot away from the locked on target, I also heard that you will be exploring many small worlds instead of one large one, which might save some time thing "where the hell I'm supposed to go now".
The way you open doors using Wiimote gestures looks interesting too.
