i found flicking the wiimote down/forward the most responsive as opposed to the motions you'd naturally do if you boxed. when punching low, flick the remote down towards the floor, not low and forward as if you were really socking someone in the guts. for hooks and uppercuts - make an exaggerated scooping motion. it doesn't feel the best, but it works! do the training where the trainer has the mits on and you have to punch the hand that he puts out. you'll get used to it that way pretty quick.

I've also beaten the champs in tennis and the baseball champ but not in boxing... He's insane!

I've got most of the platinum medals but there's a few (like the boxing events grrrr) that I don't have.

ive figured out how to play boxing really easy...

you hold up both hands to defend, and then move from side to side continuosly... every now and then they will punch at you but miss, and everything goes slo mo like the matrix, and then you go hard and punch the hell out of them a few times. then back to dodging.

youll be pro in no time

its all about timing... also you really have to look at the ball, if you can see the ball isnt spinning it means its going to be a splitter.. leave it and if you see the ball is aimed at your body or away from the bat and you can see its not going to curve LEAVE IT!! and i think this is just me but while my swing is in a slightly upward motion.. im sure it doesnt effect the shot but it makes me feel gooood
