But no. There is a reason why you can't get points refunded for VC, or the Xbox Live service either.

Too many people would flaunt the system, getting something, playing it, refunding it, getting something else etc. People won't buy as many points hence less money is made.

1. If you download a game and you delete it you can download it again for free.
2. People could just get 2000 Wii points or the amount of a Nintendo 64 game and keep refunding them whenever they are finished with a game, and then use them to download another game.

Overall i think it is just unfair and my advice to you:

Keep the Wiimote a safe distance from young children.

Taking into account that it will take a Minute to quit the shop channel and get into the game, and atleast another minute to get back into the Shop Channel to get a refund, 2-3 minutes doesn't seem to be enough to finish a game.

+ A game isn't finished untill you get 100% completed and have completed all the levels.
Therefore, you can't finish Mario in five minutes.
