Wii Hardware \ Component Cables?

Just wondering whether it's worth it... We recently got a new HD TV, and I'm not sure whether I should get component cables or not.

If I do, I can either get:

Official Nintendo cables: $50
Snakebye Third Party 'Premium' cables: $38

Should I take the risk and save $12 in buying third party or go for Nintendo? Do I even need the cables?

It's essential if your TV screen is greater than 32". Not sure about what the third party cables are like but I guess getting the official one is the safest.

Cables are cables. Whether they have "Nintendo" on them or even "SUPER GREAT NINTANDEO CABELS", its just a wire and a plug. Correct me if im wrong! BUT REMEMBER. Things from HongKong+Ebay are all just rip-offs and you have no warranty or consumer protection.

Get them....even Wii Sports has crisper picture quality.

Remember you will be playing your Wii for about 5 years....so thats 5 years of better picture quality. In the long run its worth it dude.
