Hmm....... just got back from my mates house who has just purchased the 65" Viera from Panasonic, he also picked up a blu ray player as well. I must say the quality of picture is mindblowing...... so i guess the PS3 has it's merits.

if all your into is fps then yeah there isnt much, if not there are more than enough good titles on 360 atm. xbox live still the best part about the 360 tho.

, like gears or war and Halo 3 (YUCK THAT HALO SERIES!) are Xbox 360 only, and there havn't been many playstation(<- as in all PS's) only games...(well none that i can think of off the top off my head...) like what will the ps3 offer that the 360 doesnt already have!? besides that PS3 has Blu-Ray (new type of dvd disc)...this is a chart that shows the differences between 360 AND PS3 (scroll to bottom...) au.gamespot.com/

Total cost for something that has the features of a PS3 = $1250
(And thats WITHOUT one of its $120 games (LOL.))

Also, dont forget about the cooling issues with Xbox360's and the noise.
