It's great, if you're playing with someone with a good internet connection, you also must have a decent one. If playing with someone that has a poor internet connection, it's so laggy that it's unplayable.

All games have different requirements for internet speed because information needs to be relayed between the WFC server and the player(s) constantly on Brawl to keep player positions and status updated. On FPS games, less bandwidth is required because other players are not always on screen and hence the system does not always need to request data.

In conclusion, if you suffer lag, DON'T blame Brawl or Nintendo WFC, it is *NOT* their fault. If people around the world, especially in Japan, are able to play this at full speed, then it's obviously not their server. PS: I live in Australia, home of one of the crappiest internet infrastructures in the world, and even *I* have friends on my Brawl list that have Yellow and even Green connection ratings, which are sufficient to play.

Nah, you'll see me rant like this when something annoys me quite a lot. It'd be longer if there was no character limit... or do you mean the guide?

If you meant the guide, I just happen to be an IT expert is all, I'm aware of how netplay for Wii games works, and I just thought I'd write this guide to help newbies with lag to connect and put all the stupid people whinging about it in their place.

sure, not all players are on screen at once, but when i play big team battle on halo there can be around 10 players on screen with no lag. Then i play sbb with the same friend and it has a tiny amount of lag, but it still affects the gameplay. I have internet at 1.5mb/s and he has adsl 2 so it should be fine
