Thats just the regular sensor bar. As has been stated millions of times, the sensor bar only emits a couple of lights, it doesnt gather any information, the cord is just for power.
Those are the two lights which are emitted so that the remote can figure out where its pointing. Naked eye cant see it, but camera can. Ive seen another video made on another camera where they came up a blue colour, not purple. On other cameras it might not show up at all. Its just the regular sensor bar.
