Nintendo has always been more kiddy though
even when the 64 came out...the ps1 had less kiddish games...
but it hasn't stopped their success
nintendo wii does suit a younger market more than the 360 and ps3, and they have the advantage in price their too.
I think since the gamers age group is a lot larger now, with younger and older gamers, there is a big aim at the older gamers because they are the ones with the dollars. But when you have the same violent (or less-kiddy...whatever you like) games available on PS3 and 360 and PC as well...then how much money are Nintendo expecting to make by jumping on the bandwagon for all these games?
sure...there would be a few games that might be financially worthwhile...maybe gta iv, etc...only because you know that would sell on any console
but i think nintendo are the ones that seem to be addressing the untapped markets
anyway...its not completely aimed at youngens...otherwise it wouldn't have any games with MA15+ ratings like Mortal Kombat Armageddon and such...
but who doesn't like some kiddy games anyway?
is there anyone here that doesn't like mario kart wii???
