yeh ive been conidering a 360 for a while now.. i used to own one but traded it for the wii before launch.. PS3 is just way out of my leaugue atm dollar wise.. but im looking into getting a 360 atm..

ps3's go for around the same price as 360 now days and u could even check out www.play-asia.com for a ps3

PC's are great and all, but really hard to keep up to date.
Mine was high-end about 3 years ago, and now it's ancient, virtually.
I still enjoy play Steam games on their, though.

Well I guess if you want to. The difference last year is probably that all the good upcoming games that we knew of (Paper Mario, Galaxy, Corruption, ect.) have all come out, and we don't really know of any good actual NINTENDO games that are coming out.
You could always sell it for now and keep the games (or some of them) then when we know of good titles coming up, get another one.

I would go for a Xbox360 pro or Elite. The arcade version isnt backwards compatable (PS3 isnt backwards compatable anymore) nor suports HDTV. There are so many games out for the Xbox360, way more than PS3, and the games are cheaper than PS3 games. Im thinking of getting a 360 in the next few weeks.

I think every now and again you need to have a break from the Wii, and try not to expose yourself to any of the realy bad Wii games out there.

both the balance board and the wii wheel are innovative and entertaining, and you just know nintendo are bound to release more games compatible with the balance board.
But my advice, save for a 360 or PS3 and keep the Wii you will miss it when its gone

What is mature gaming? Games that go to the pub with you? How does excessive language or pink pixels make a game good?

You can have your 'mature' games where as I would much rather entertaining games.

What are video games? Interactive Entertainment. It doesnt matter what the game looks like - if its interactive and entertaining then it is a good video game. Yoshi's Island proved that.

Most of these 'mature' games are the same old tired crap. They dont offer anything new. Nintendo continue to push themselves with releasing new innovative games - and not just games but also ways to play them.

It is just a shame 3rd party companies arent providing good enough filler.

Like you I went months without touching my Nintendo but I sure arent going to shell out $600 to play OK games. Would much rather save the dosh and not play at all. I dont need to play something new all the time.

Turns out I am addicted to Mario Kart Wii so that will keep me going until the next title.

I'll say as some other have, get a 360 or a ps3. If you have the money to do so then keep the wii. If you don't then sell the wii and get a 360 or ps3. Bear in mind that 360's (arcade) are quite cheap now as jotendo said, you can even get one with warranty for $300 on ebay.

But it's your decision so good luck! I was in the same boat as you and decided to sell my wii to get a 360, and very, very glad I did so. If the wii has enough on offer later down the track then I'll get one.
