Thought I might just pop in and write out some boring banter about a new RETRO MEDAL!!!

Welcome to the ‘Salute (insert Tim Taylor Salute here) to Pinball!'

All you have to do to get one of these funky little medals is tell us your most memorable pinball story!

Tell us about the first time you ever played, the best score you ever got, the best machine you ever played – Anything to do with your memories of pinball! Best memory, worst memory, tell us whatever you like!

The first 50 entries will receive a medal for their story!

my pinball story is the first time i ever experience a pinball machine. my uncle own a pub and had got in a brand new simpsons pinball machine. i can remember standing in awe of it's beauty, its flashing lights and ringing bells memorized me. we were visiting him for a week and i don't think i left that pinball machine the whole time!
i think they should bring back the pinball machine, i love them!

I dont have a whole heap of memories with pinball sadly, but i do remember the first time i played one.
It was at Pizza place, i was really young and we had been driving till late into the night, we finally stopped to get food and stretch our legs and even though i had no money i pretended to play the machine to entertain myself

I did alrite i didnt get the high score though. It was fun! The sad thing was next time i went back there the machine was gone someone must have won it!

Well... I put some coins into the machine and I waited. The machine didn't seem to recognize my money, it just kept on showing the high score. It appeared to be broken. ...Then I found a OUT OF ORDER sign behind the machine. I wasted some money, so I walked out.

All my other plays of Pinball have been great, this is just the most memorable one.

Back in the late 80's/early 90's.....

I think the name of the machine was Galaxy Babes or something lame like that and it had pictures of naked women all over it with stars covering their bits.

Anyway I used to play it all the time at the local Roller Rink and I got to the point where I was supreme champion which really annoyed the guys who played it lots.

One time I went in a little mini tourny on it and won free tickets to the next skating session LOL

Me and my friends use to play heaps on pinnys, a few I can remember are Blackhole, Jurasic Park and probably my fave Fish Tales. We use to put stuff under the front legs when no one was watching, to raise the front of the pinny which would make the ball roll slower. Then our couple of dollars would last a lot longer and high scores were easy.

my memorable pinball story comes from a time back when pinballs ruled and the internet was just a dream . i spent many a 20c coin in place called "recters" a tabboccanist /milkshake parlor of old .

they got the playboy pinbal and there was a big comp between all the locals (about 15 of us) to see who could "clock it"(have to score wheels turn over to 000,000) .

well one night this guy lets call him Craig (real name) was up next for his turn(coins stacked across top) well craig rather than miss his turn going for a leak took a leak under the pinball machine ,thus getting us all banned for 2 week only to return after ban was lifted to find the playboy pinball machine gone.

what a let down all because of one knob head.

i have many memories of pinny parlors but that sticks in my mine most
