I watched this last night, here's my thoughts.

Meet The Spartans is 2 laughs in the middle of a big barrel of retarded monkey's masturbating over pictures of Billy Mitchell.

Actually I should rephrase that that as 2 laughs at the beginning off..

But then I should refine further as to say it's 2 laughs at the beginning of a long drawn out train ride from Perth to Brisbane wearing nothing but drawing pins while salt is blowing out from the air vents and William Hung serenades you singing Jeff Buckleys greatest hits knowing full well that in the next cabin a big barrel of retarded monkeys are masturbating over pictures of Billy Mitchell.

Needless to say there's something funny going on but it's not in the same room you are.

Avoid any movie that has to explain every joke as they occur.

I give this movie 0/A googolplex.

Yeah. This movie looks stupid. NOT ANOTHER SPOOF MOVIE! Haven't we had enough? I think it's just lazy on the behalf of the film makers. That way they don't have to come up with anything original and they can just go through Greek movies. Pick the best scenes and change them around to make them 'kinda' funny, 'kinda' not.

The problem is, the producers somehow find a way to make people see these kinds of movies. Its mostly because of the previews, I mean, I saw the part where it looked like Britney Spears was gonna eat her baby or something and had a chuckle, but then realised thats probably the only remotely funny part in the whole movie.

The problem is also that people still like to switch their brains off. Or not have any brains. Thats really the only way someone can enjoy this kind of movie. Which is ok aswell, cause you have to switch your brain off for movies like shoot em' up too.

Overall, I give meet the spartans -10/1000

I'm tired of these type of movies. I'm sure when it comes out on DVD I'll watch it, but I'm also sure I won't enjoy it. The first few kinds of these "parody movies" were funny & then they just got repetitive & lame.

It's just like reality shows. I loved Real World then a few others but now I turn on the TV & that's all that's on! It's really frustrating. I feel like the media has run out of ideas....whatev....
