Wii Software \ EB Price match?

I've never actually been to EB and asked them to price match something for me so i was just wondering if you need to have an actual catalogue from another store advertising a game price, or can you just go in and tell them store X are selling it at a certain price and will EB then ring them to find out?

You can also just print out the catalogue pages seperately from Store X's website and use that I think.

EB are a bunch of rip off merchants! $109.00 for a Wii game at launch, Think about those people who dont know much about games prices and forked out this much.

I live in Darwin and there is an EB and a JB at opposite ends of the main shopping centre up here. The EB will apparently price match them if asked. I didn't bother as JB was closer to where i parked, and had everything i needed at the time.

I'd have to say i agree with you, but being in a small(ish) city it doesn't make much difference to me if i drive to one shop or another.. I could imagine why you would opt for price matching if it saved 45mins driving to get to the cheaper place..

Just remember not to take their crap. Being a former employee of EB they are pricks. On the midnight launch i asked and had physical proof that other stores were cheaper and asked them to match it. They said they would just not that night as it was busy and i could return later and do it.

I took a few games back the next day and also wanted the match, they said they couldn't because the other stores didn't have stock. Being a former employee and i understand the policy i find it quite acceptable, however no other stores having stock was a load of crap. I walked into target and they had them.

I could have saved about $100 with the match but they refused, i didn't fight them they insisted that there wasn't stock avalable.

I'm not going to get angry about it they simply will not get another cent from me, ever.

I would rather pay someone more for a product or a service if they were nice about it or reasonable.

Eb are great..:P they pushed the return to 15th of janurary.. time for me to hand red steel back and get rayman.. after i complete red steel that is..

I walked out, saved over 100 dollars.

That's my EB, the staff their are easy going, and it's a good store.
Sorry to hear all the other EB's are Nazi's.

iknow this is a bit late but i bought medal of honor airbourne for pc paid $99 and looked at the reciept when i got home it said the price was 119 or somthing but price matched already 2 beat kmart which is in the same shopping complex so i think they compare prices themselvews and make that offer so if they dont know of a store selling it cheaper u tell them and then they can kill off competition
