at 1min 49secs you can see that ther is two flaps for gamecube controllers and memory slot

, so my question is If i was to buy a wii (i am) and i wanted to buy and play say Zelda Wind Waker,

I would have to buy a Gamecube controller but do I need a Gamecube memorycard or can I just use the SD card? are they the same?

You need to buy cause reggie needs to eat.... seriously technology is at a point where this isnt required but nintendo has gone cheap and assumed that people are gonna just pay up 'n' shut up. Im opting out of both these options!
