Destroy All Humans. A Rampaging Willy. - 7/10
The third instalment in the Destroy All Humans set has been "robbed" of it's namesake. It continues the story of Destroy all Humans but is a microcosm with in the franchise itself.
Not to be overlook by any means. Unless you have kids that want to play it.
I must admit I found myself enjoying this one.
Graphics: 5/10
It's not that the graphics are terrible. It's more that it's obvious that BWU is nothing more then a port from the PS2.
The Wii handles the load, only slowing down a little when the ground is cover with enemies and the sky is literally full of weapons fire. Yes both at the same time. The Wii handles itself well otherwise.
Sound: 9/10
Once again, it's nought but a port. (Sorry about the rhyme thing there.) The sound is however one of the things that make this game enjoyable. The amount of audio is quite nice allowing some time in one area before you're sick of hearing the same lines over and over again. That coupled with the fact the jokes are actually funny (not for children though) almost let you forget about the fact it's a port.
Controls/Game play: 7/10
Wiimote-'chuk style.
These were a pleasant surprise. The control scheme is actually very reasonable. The game utilises the Wii-mote well. A simple throwing motion will allow you to hurl people, cars and if you good enough tanks down the street. The menus are simple to use and mind control and ammo generation is as simple as shooting targets. (There are things trying to kill you will you do this.)
The vehicle controls are simple and effective be it in the saucer or the Big Willy MECH.
Storyline: 9/10
The DAH storyline has progressed well in BWU. It hasn't become tired. That said. I don't want to give it away. Just know that the most Willy jokes I've ever encountered are here and well thought out at that. There is some small amount of back-story for Pox and follow-on from the last game. This aspect and the voice acting are what make the game. I dare not spoil it by saying more.
Longevity: 5/10
It's not that the game is overly short. It's not. To find all the collectables and unlock all the options takes some time. It's just once you've finished it you may play it for a few minutes to flatten a city or raise an army of zombies but you likely wont give it a second look.

Nice review
I had thought about getting this game, but the many others I have yet to finish made me think twice and so I have yet to enjoy the Big Willy!
It's good that the fact that it is an obvious PS2 port doesn't take away from it being a good Wii game. And it isn't often a game comes along that you want to play just because of the story, and the laughs. You've pointed some good things out. Keep the reviews coming!
