Tatsunoko vs Capcom - 10/10

After years of waiting for a decent fighter since the wii has been released finally Capcom brings TvC exclusively to wii. With online play, 2 on 2 action and a great amount of characters, everything about this game is almost perfect.

Tatsunoko is an anime television production, mainly only known by Japan. As all the characters from their side of the game are from TV shows you probably won't know.....almost all of them. But since Capcom is involved they'll be a lot of characters you'll be dying to play as. 3 Street fighter characters are in the game and 3 characters from the Megaman series will also make an appearance so there's a fighter for almost everyone.

Since the wii has terrible graphics it's often hard to find a game for it that is really lush and colourful. But TvC has an amazing graphic engine and the game is probably the most colourful for wii. Stage designs are beautiful and are from previous Capcom titles and Tatsunoko episodes. Even the stage from the Dead Rising mall is in it. The characters ultra combo's are the most colourful of the game and great to watch in action.

The gameplay is extremely fun. The 2 on 2 action works very well and becomes the most addictive part of the game. The series brings back the air combo feature too, also introducing new ways to make it more exciting. Players must mix up their moves to make combos then knock the opponent into the air to make it even longer and more powerful and ending it with an ultra combo. Their's lots of ways to mix up the way you fight and proves this is one of the best fighters for wii.

The controls for the game is one of the main things people worried about when playing TvC. But in the end, the controls worked out very well and even introduced a new feature called 'Simple Command'. By just tapping a button you can do a special move like a shoryuken or a hadoken without having to put in the difficult input command. If you're not happy with the way the wiimote works there's still 3 more ways to play. Wiimote + nunchuk, gamecube controller and the classic controller. Just like brawl, the controls are nothing to worry about.

This game is a must buy for all fighter fans and definetly one of the games you'll be playing for a long time. With survival mode, training, arcade, time attack and even its own shop to buy art and videos TvC is sure to be a favourite for wii.
