OK: EB staff have no control over what they sell 2nd-hand games for. The prices are set by head office, so don't blame the staff for that.

I have 3 stores near me and always get great service *and* the absolute best prices.

My tip to some of you is that you should:

A) Pick your times, i.e. DON'T go there 2 days before Christmas and try to price match 17 different games, when the store is overflowing with Mums and little kids

and

B) Get to know the staff. Sure, there will always be a few idiots but generally speaking, if you treat them like humans, you'll get the best out of them. If they know you as a good, regular customer, they'll look after you. (And that principle is true in every business, wherever you go.)

The guys at my local stores will go out of their way to help me. -When I want a rare game, they'll ring up every store in the State to get a copy, if that's what it takes.

And as for all the morons who keep saying EB is expensive: THEY WILL PRICE MATCH ANYONE ELSE, SO HOW CAN THEY BE MORE EXPENSIVE?!!!???

I'm convinced that the ones who constantly whinge about EB are actually trolls working for JB/GAME.

Oh, and don't ask any of the girls who work at EB about games: that would be like asking Steven Seagal about womens' shoes. I don't know why they hire them.

As someone mentioned before. Why give EB's the money, they are ripping $500 in between any price match. On the other hand, they're a business to.

And I could say the same for trolls who support EB's

I don't care for EB's closest to me, mainly because of the staff. It doesn't stop me from shopping at another one. I also don't care for the Revolution CD idiot, I think he's the owner so I would never step foot in there either. All the rest of the gamer type stores around my area are fine.

well, you odviously have had a good experience with your EB staff. which is good.

I am a regular customer, but because im only 14 and they see me as a kid, they never recognise me, and treat the same each time. Im not saying that there are bad workers there...........well actualy i am, but not all of them.

There is one bloke who is working there 90% of the time im in there and he is a prick. I go up to ask a question and he answers me as quickly as possible and turns around to aviod talking to customers, and always makes excuses about trade-ins ect.

But there is an awsome lady who knows her stuff and is realy helpful, and a guy who has long black hair who is the same. Then there are clueless ladies who can't point me to where the 360 games are in the store

it just depends on the staff imo
