Mmmmmm....not really. No one can really say what a legitimate "required amount" could be. I mean, they could order 100 copies of the game expecting it to sell like cakes and only sell 40 on the day of the sale or vice verse. I remember when the Wii first came out, I went to pick up a Wii at GAME and they said they sold out in almost 20 minutes because they didn't think it would sell so great, thus ordering a limited amount.

If I were you, though, I'd be complaining as to why the game is already sold out 3 days prior to the bloody sale. If it's a one-day-only sale, it wouldn;t be fair to sell off ALL the copies 3 days earlier and screw everyone else over coming in for the sale...that's what I'm doing anyway....if Alyssa's statement is correct...

True...especially about the TPA guideline. If they indeed have no stock on the day of sale, I'll be walking away with a lot more than GH3 if I pursue legal action

But at the end of the day...I just want GH3 for the sale price they're offering. I'll be at Big W as early as possible to increase my chances...but if my demands aren't met....this internet superhero is going to be VERY displeased.

on there big catelogue it says rubbish about selling a comparable item at the same discount if they dont have stock [but this isnt on the 1 day catelogue - leading an argument that it doesnt apply and was intended to be separated from the larger]...il say, 'sure reduce metroid prime 3 for another $50 off from the advertised price to $38 then '...hmmm

Hmmm...Winston Hill eh? Hopefully they should have a new batch for the Saturday sale so I'm going to take my chances there in Fairfield. I don't know of many people in my area that have a Wii so fingers crossed.
