No way. Here's a hint: this game inspired another, one that's the talk of the town at the moment. Some people even say that the new game is this game, except prettied up a bit, and I'm inclined to agree with them.

It's not Resident Evil. But it is survival horror.

Resi isn't a first-person shooter, dudes, and Resi 4 is the only one that has constantly on-screen HUD elements.

No. That was a mediocre game. And different HUD, also.

It's not so surprising that no one's played this. It's one of those games that get written up as innovative and amazing, but everyone decides to buy crap instead. Kind of like how Beyond Good and Evil got shafted.

Late eighties. I remember playing it on my Amiga, but it was on the C64 aswell, I think it came out on the NES too.
