How do i get it?

All you have to do is post in this Thread a fact about any of the Metroid Prime games or Samus Aran from the games. It also:

 • Must be more then 10 words
 • Must be less then 200 words

Things like "Samus is a girl!" will just be deleted.

NOTE: IF you post a fact someone else has already posted it will not count!

This will be open from TONIGHT, Friday the 10th August to the end of the weekend. For other time zones read below:

On the box and the manual of the original Metroid, it states that the game takes place on the planet Zebes. However, the text inside the game itself calls the planet *Zebeth*. This is because there is no basic 's' sound in Japanese--words that end in 'th' are sometimes translated as 's'. The 'Zebes' spelling is the one that caught on, and is used in every subsequent title..

In Metroid Prime Hunters Samas Aran was sent to the Alimbic solar system to find a strange artifact of great power, however, she wasn't alone. Six other hunters wanted the artifact for themselves.

After traversing multiple planets and finding the hidden “octoliths”, Samus was able to find Goria, the beast the Alimbics to sacrificed themselves to contain. After destroying Goria and saving the other hunters’ asses, she leaves the solar system with the Omega Cannon, ready for her next adventure.

biggest bombshell of metroid 3 (unless Nintendo are still insistent about keeping it under wraps after the game being in development for so long) is that Corruption will be a one-player experience (i.e, no online multiplayer as heavily speculated).

Despite the release order of the Metroid games, the chronological order is far different. Obviously, the original/Zero Mission is the first...but Metroid 2:Return of Samus isn't the second...Metroid Prime is. Then it's MP:H, the second Metroid Prime, then it'll be Corruption. then it's Metroid 2, then Super Metroid, and finally Metroid Fusion. Weird huh?

In Metroid Prime One, you can see Samus's eyes and eyebrows(I couldn't notice anything else), when you get hit by a Flying Pirates' attack.

The Ice beam, has only been used in the original Metroid, then did not appear again until Metroid prime.

In Metroid Prime One, you can unlock image galleries by scanning enough! You unlock the first one when you have completed 50% of log book entires.

In Metroid, if a person used the JUSTIN BAILEY code, they would get nearly every power up needed to complete the game, both mini Bosses wold be defeated and the path to Tourian, the final area, would be opened. The player would also play as Samus in a purple leotard instead of the Power Suit. The Justin Bailey code was acctually a complete accident, it was just a code found early on and was wide spread.

Ridley does not make any appearance at all in Metroid Prime 2 Echoes, and the Phazon beam is ONLY in Metroid Prime, the first one, and it is only active when you are standing in a pool of phazon, which is only at the end of the game.

For those that don't know, Metroid Prime is actually Dark Samus, at the end of Prime 1, Metroid Prime rips off Samus's Phazon suit when it is dying, trying to pull her in with it, but it only takes the suit, and it then makes a shell of the suit and hides in there.

If you complete Prime 1 at 100%, you will see the little teaser at the end with Metroid Prime poking something out of the ground to show it is still alive, and thus becoming Dark Samus.
