um i hope this has not been posted. in the first ever metroid game if you beat the game in a certain way you get 4 differant endings. one is when samus dies. another is when she is not there but instead the game shows a metroid, another is when she shoots a metroid and the last one is when she is a bikini. the bikini one is alter passed down to metroid 2.

If you bring your DS to your local Wal-Mart (Well at least here in america) If you go to the electronic section. On your Ds press Ds Download play and you get a Demo menu. The Demo Menu has a bunch of demos of many games an you play like a game and when you turn it off you lose it, Well one of the games you could demo-download was metroid prime hunters (Ds) You were able to play just some of the features then the Real game and you lost it if you turned it off!

Plus Nintendo has released a Video showing you what to expect at the Wii Shop Channel on your console if connected to the internet. (It is downloaded as a Channel)

Comic books have been released based on Metroid, Super Metroid and Metroid Prime. Samus Aran and other Metroid characters also feature in the Captain N: The Game Master comic books. Mother Brain was also the main villain in the "Captain N: The Game Master" TV show.

Samus is also featured in the Super Smash Bros. series (Super Smash Bros., Super Smash Bros. Melee, and the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Brawl) in both Varia Suit and Zero Suit versions.

Samus was designed by Hiroji Kiyotake. Other than the famous metriod prime series, samus has been in all smash bros titles.

Samus's main feature is her Power Suit, a modular suit of armor created for her by the Chozo. The Power Suit's main purpose is to protect her from different environments and enemy fire.

Samus's parts have also included her being in parts of other games like wario wares: (often a micro game), Animal crossing: (where you recive a secret item which is the metroid case which plays the metroid theme song) and heaps more.
this suit can be upgraded to the Varia Suit (providing greater protection against extreme heat and cold), the Gravity Suit (providing easier mobility while submerged), the Phazon Suit (protecting against exposure to Phazon, and access to Hyper-Mode), the Dark Suit (providing protection against Dark Aether's poisonous atmosphere), and the Light Suit (making her immune to Dark Aether's atmosphere, and giving her the ability to fly through beams of light).
