Yep on PVP you can be killed with out warning (and generally do)

whats a good race? i was thinking a nightelf / rogue. or something like that. i was a big diablo 1, 2 fan so if it sounds like something off that i was gunna go for it lol.

interested in magic dudes, but i usually go melee. just another thing, i had people coming up and asking me to join a group...do you get in a posse and go around fighting other groups? and when do you start getting minerals ect? i saw on the news a while ago about a bloke paying a group of people to mine gold for him! thats nuts lol. reading through the manual just totally tripped me out - being able to do as much as you can in this game is unbelievable!

NOT ANOTHER NIGHT-ELF! AHHHHH! That's an alliance character, most of us can't help you if you're ally. I'm currently playing a Blood-Elf(even though I hate them - Nbo forced me to

) Warlock. Try a Paladin or rogue first(I'd go with paladin) and see how you like it. Regards to diablo, it's like a cross between warcraft and diablo with better graphics.

ok peeps, im just loading it up now. my mate changed to Thaurissan, and ill do the same. and hoard baby all the way LOL. whats a good race in hoard max? and if i choose a different race to my mate, in hoard will we start at different spots on the map?

Yeah you will but you can easily catch up. Anyway, if you want to start with a Paladin you HAVE to be blood-elf. Otherwise, orcs are a good race for the majority of classes they have, trolls(as much as I hate saying it) are good hunters Tauren are good for strength, Undead have nice magic classes. Anyway, basically have a look around, play round' with the character customisation settings of each race and see which one looks the coolest to you and which jumps out, hope to see you on soon!

how do i get my stats up? ive been killing **** but is there certain things you do to increase speed or whatever to wear chain mail or use a bigger axe?

You don't learn mail armour until lvl 40 for a hunter.

Just pick up quests and do them. When you hit lvl 10 you will get talent points press N i highly suggest putting your points in Beast Mastery (you get 1 talent point every lvl you go up)

Also talk to your hunter trainer every 2 lvl's eg: 2,4,6,8 to get new skills.

One other thing, make sure you pick up your lvl 10 Hunter quest to get you pet. Also when you have done that click on one of the icons you will get (can't remember which one it is) it will let you train your pet, growl is one of the first and you will need it in the begining.

ATM my undead warrior is lvl 15, but i have multiple 70's & 60's. A suggestion to when you hit lvl 12 go to ghostlands. Really good place to lvl and the quest items are a lot better than the other areas, and you get to bypass most of the dreaded barrens....
