Nice choice. He's the commander for the Blood Angels. You can only use him with the Blood Angels chapter, though. However, you can still buy him and paint him just for display. I had an Eldar Harlequin I bought and painted simply because he looked cool lol.

I was scared of doing that too when I first started. I have this thing where my hands start to shake and quiver at times. It's not a disease or anything it's just my muscles tense up. Having this, I thought I would make a complete disaster of my models...but it's the complete opposite. The models are SO easy to paint and it's actually a great stress relief. The first model I ever painted turned out awesome (though you can tell it was nooby).

Besides, even if you do turn your model into a complete disasterpiece you can always paint over the mistakes or just spray the whole thing black again and start over.
