Wii Hardware \ Sensor Bar Stuffing up

lethalvoid says:

Hi I've had my Wii for over a month now and the only problem with it is that sometimes (once a week) the courser starts jittering and I cannot control it. I have also noticed the the sensor bar input connector is a little loose, is that normal? I've also tried cleaning all sensors and changing the position of the sensor bar but nothing works. Any help would be great.

Welcome to MyWii. I've always had the cursor jittery, but only on the home page. My Sensor Bar connection is a little loose, but not loose enough to come out.

K-Man says:

like version2 said welcome to mywii! do not worry about your sensor bar, it sometimes do that. to fix the problem, just go to wii options and then to wii settings. next go to sensor bar. once you do that, go to sensitivity and it'll show you two dots. move left or right with the minus and plus button until the screen shows two blinking dots at the same time. when that happens, then that means the cursor won't be jittery anymore!

hope this has helped you

yeh, welcome to mywii.

You can adjust the settings like K-Man said.

And the cursor jitters for me but mainly on the channels menu, home.

K-Man says:

yeah sometimes the cursor will get jittery again so you'll have to adjust it's sensitivity once and a while

supA says:

Yes. There should be 2.

jimmy01 says:

yeah i know there should be 2...but theres no change in the blinking rate or anything as i change sensitivities. is there meant to be any noticable difference between the different levels?

like is one sensitivity level meant to nmot blink because its the wrong setting for your tv or something?

because theres no difference i have no idea where it should be set..i just leave it in the middle.

Yes there is normally a change but if there is no change I guess its only a bonus and yea i guess you just leave it in the middle, don't know why but it looks like most of them are just different and need to be set individually.
