I had to purchase a warranty and thats the first for a console. My Ps2 has never packed up either. The Xbox 360's hard drive can also be faulty. My Wii has been perfect what does that tell you about quality!

What I don't get is why people are putting up with $500+ machine that is faulty?? I have seen Y-gens arguing refunds for crappy food at local McDonalds' but why not for something that is so much more expensive..
