I asked her why they would bother putting the thing about games older than 30 May if it was only the ones advertised and she couldn't answer it.

They certainly didn't word their ad very well.

There were a few games there on special, but definately weren't 40% off.

I called up my two local stores and both said its only the 7 advertised games. I was hoping one of them might of said it was on all games.

I called back the store I went into this morning and questioned everything and basically they had no idea! They kept making up excuses why I couldn't get it for 40% off. They said that even though cooking mama was realeased on 16 May, they didn't get it until after 30 may, so it isn't included.

I got sick of arguing in the end.

Yeah i can confirm that there were more titles at 40% off. I saw many more games on sale at the Big W i was at... Sonic, Prince of Persia, Ice Age, Shrek 3.... Just depends on the store you're at i guess. But if you want to fight it, go ahead... I used to work at Target, and i can guaruntee if u take it up with a manager, they will override and give the discount. It clearly states it on their catalogue, and says nothing about 'selected games' or 'these titles only'. Anyway, other stores are doing it, can't c the problem...
