LMAO. You seem to forget Nintendo products are invincible. People have accidentally flushed Gameboys and GBA's, retrieveing them in working order (after drying) I've seen a gamecube dragged behind a pickup on a dirt road for a kilometre and it still worked fine. I have full confidence in my Wii's ability to withstand falling over if it happens.

People, if your consoles are heating up when it's off the reason is that connect24 is on. If that's off then it wont heat up when the console if turned off (you can check this with the standby light: yellow = connect24 on, red = off).

its a natural thing the fans dont kick in until you turn it on to play it so do that once a day for a few minutes to cool it down .
if your worried about it use the search bar on this site and type heating and things like that there have been tonnes of threads about its heat
