I got my wii modded to back up games i LEGALLY bought so i dont wreck the original ur the dumb one thats going to wreck ur original copy and have to buy a new one
and its just the ribbon in my wii that needs to be replaced which will cost $35 installed so hahaha

I think the title should be "Why You Should Not Let Your Friend Mod Your Wii!"

Seriously, this is the first time i have heard of a Wii key mod going wrong. If you're going to fork out money to mod your Wii, then pay for the extra $$$ and have it done professionally. I'm pretty handy with the soldering iron myself but i wouldn't dare mod my Wii on my own.
