im just wondering if not owning melee (or skipping the past generation console) would be a disadvantage to play like an expert on the wii. im a master on the N64 (no praises there!) but my friend got melee and i just play on his one intensely and smashed all my friends who are hardcore SSBM players after days. the transition from n64 to GC smash bros was difficult but that was years ago! but compared to hardcore gamers who actually own the game, the wii will be another step up.. waaahh!

Mario and Link Does anyone else think the graphics of the game look astounding, i cant picture it looking any better then that, maybe a few more lighting effects but the simplicity of the game really leaves it open to looking amazing, as there are only 4 characters on screen and whatevers happening in background and the fighting moves.

yeah it does look cool but it will get better over time. when ssbm came out most people thought that the graphics couldnt get better but they have.
