Hi Folks,
Look! I know there has been plenty of discussion about Modem/Routers in this forum, but I'm considering which modem/router to consider to effect internet connectivity? My MAIN concern is FTP when going wireless.
Here's my salient points:
1) I'm on an ADSL1 plan with Westnet (a WA ISP for you eastern states colonials LOL) and require FTP (for remote website content transfer)
2) I'm considering the Belkin N+.
3) Router to study (where my PC is, would be about 4.5m tops.
5) Internal walls are single brick.
6) Study door way opens to passage which leads to (current) lounge room.
7) I DON'T want drop outs!
8) I want intuitive (if not easy) configurability.
9) I don't mind paying the right money for the right device.
10) Down the track, I'll be wanting to connect a Sony BR and an Apple Mac as well as my MS PC.
