I just remember that the royal Melbourne show starts this week on the 17th of September =o. I didn't get to go last year, so im looking forward to attending =)

Anyone else in Melbourne going to go? I <3 show-bags and the plushies

I guess this is like the Royal Easter Show in Syd?? I hven't been to that is years, too. I remember the last year it was at Moore Park and went with a few school mates. I think I've been to the BDO more than the Easter show (since it's been at Homebush.)

And Bertie Beetle is the only value show bag!!

Yeah BB its the same thing but the difference is people in Sydney seem to think its good where as people in Melbourne couldn't care less. It was funny I remember my gf and her friends telling me how cool it is and I kept saying that sound like the Royal Melbourne Show and its not cool at all!

And it turns out, as ever, I was right its sooo the same. I don't mind the show, I go pretty often because I usually have some form of gf to take there but its really not that exciting and its full of greasy carnies.

Yeah, it is shite. But, it can be intense!!! I almost lost my wallet in the Zipper ride, caught it mid air and holding onto it and the handle wondering if the ride or loosing my wallet was worse?!?!

Also, my Grandma used to enter her jams. She has about 50 ribbons from it over about 30 years (or more).
