lol, well each to their own I guess.

I too enjoy new experiences, I love Bionic Commando Rearmed on XBLA for example but I also enjoy the original just as much (why isn't this on the VC yet *shakes fist*)

I also loved MegaMan 9 which was 'new' old stuff.

It takes different types of things to please different types of people, the harder to please types just need to have deep pockets I guess.

VC is deep pockets enough, they're no different than the price of XBLA games really.

Yes it takes different types of things to please different people, so why not try to please the majority? The majority meaning the people who like to play online and the people who don't.

It wouldn't bother me if they introduced it. A scoreboard of cheaters would be nice. But hey, if they do bring it in, it's not going to be compulsory to play it online. Just as an option.

Like come on we had the same old DS demos for like, forever!
I want something NEW and hasn't come out yet!! Not something that came out a month ago..

I meant deep pockets as in prepared to buy multiple systems and games for both. I get my genuine retro fix on the VC and occasionally new stuff via WiiWare but the majority of my new quality DL titles on XBLA.

I agree there ought to be more WiiWare games taking advantage of online play but VC I believe VC games should be released as they were. It's an archive, treasure trove of nostalgic wonder!

Oi!

I want to see more VC games available on the shopping channel, saves me from setting up one of my retro consoles. Unfortunately Nintendo sees more money is WiiWare games than VC games. Share really because there's a LOT of old games that need to added to the VC selection.

Yuh totally agree and some of the titles are way hard to track down. I saw Zelda 3 for $120 a few years back... now I have it for what, $8 or something?

I love VC it got me back Bubble Bobble and heaps of games I've always wanted but could never track down. I never had a SNES when I was younger so I only ever played it at peoples houses and now I can finally own some of the games myself without having to hunt the damned things down and pay collectors prices for them!

im just saying there should be atleast an option, if some people not interested in online play then they just leave the option alone but for others they click multiplayer wifi or whatever... it would be much better, i would infact buy more games if it has this option and like i said i havent purchased 1 VC game, i have a few wii ware but mostly the ones that have online play like onslaught, bomberman, dr mario, tetris party etc......

That would equal development costs though. And really if they are going to start tinkering with code they might as well re-write the game to take advantage of newer tech (higher res, progressive scan, new controller input etc.)

VC is for pure retro and WiiWare is for the new stuff, it's the way it is and it's good, it'll be better when more serious developers get on board the WiiWare train.
