I am going to put $1000 on Bulldogs to beat Storm. Bulldogs are paying $2.23. Why are Storm favourites?

Blues will beat QLD 2-1

Cronulla will lose their next 5 matches before getting depressed, drinking, doing drugs and getting caught in a sex scandal.

Saint Kilda will lose and AFL fans will cry.

Geelong will win and get back to the top of the ladder.

Richmond will do their normal crap.

Fremantle will infect the other teams with swine flu.

My apologies for not putting a reminder in the last couple of weeks, but I'm sure you can all understand how life and work just get in the way of everything (especially the fun stuff)

Congrats to the 6 people who got a perfect round in the NRL comp last week. Yes, there were only 5 games which increased the odds, but we still got em all right.

Hi everybody,

It's that time of week again so...
Put your tips in

Congrats to the 6 tipsters who got a perfect round in the NRL last week.

For all the NRL fans, the State Of Origin series is over for another year. I hope you picked the right teams and bonus points came in handy.

On a serious note, it has come to my attention recently, that there seems to be an issue where tipsters are entering their tips, only to find out later that some of the tips have changed.
At this point in time, I can only suggest that everybody double checks their tips, just before closing time, and also over the weekend. If you give me enough notice, I may be able to work something out. I will not make tip changes because you changed your mind. Please email me at the address provided in the Comp Rules if there are any problems (I promise I will check my emails more regularly than I have been).

It's that time of year again, the regular footy season is coming to an end.
But don't worry, cause the tipping will keep going throughout the finals.
I will be making a list of the people who have tipped regularly, and therefore still in the running to win a prize, and I will be removing anybody who does not meet the criteria for being a regular tipster, so the people left will have a clearer picture of where they are in the comp.

Now with the AFL season over, it's time to announce some winners!
As many of you are probably aware, there were 3 people equal 1st in the AFL tipping comp.

Because of this, the fairest way to distibute the prize money, is to combine 1st & 2nd prize and split it evenly amongst all the winners. Therefore all 3 winners will receive $100 cold hard cash!

I will be contacting the winners soon via the email address they used to register with OzTips.

Once again, congratulations to all the winners, and thank you to everybody who participated. I hope you all had some fun.

Due to the global financial crisis and other circumstances beyond anybody's control, there will NOT be a prize for last place, only 1st & 2nd prizes will be offered, besides the people who are at the bottom of the ladder are people who didn't participate throughout the season.
I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but remember, this started off as a comp with no prizes, only bragging rights, but through the extreme generosity of vblade, who is putting up his OWN money ($600) for prizes, I hope everybody can understand the decision that was made.
