Couldn't agree with you more.

I feel that being laid back and easy going is one of Australia's best qualities. That is what being an Australian is all about. The best example is that we have so much slang here becuase we can't be bothered to say the whole word. IMO that is awesome.

You always seem to hear stories like this coming from the US. My favourite one so far would have to be the stupid mum that put a credit card into her Wii console. When I heard about it I gave myself an excessive, massive headshake which nearly resulted in a concussion.

That is not to say Australia doesn't have its fair share of idiots. We certainly have plenty as well.
