I've been thinking about getting a wii since I read that Project Zero 4 is going to be a wii exclusive, but I'd like to know what other great games there are, or going to be, on the wii.
I'm mostly into RPGs and Survival Horror.

Well here's a list of the best Wii games (my opinion):

Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Mario Kart Wii
Super Mario Galaxy
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Super Paper Mario

And if you need another Wii Remote you can get it bundled with Wii Play, not a great game but it's free!

Yea got the game myself, check my review out on it, the Wii does have some great games and many people will say get Nintendo's own games but since you really like RPGs and Survival Horrors you might not like them. Fatal Frame IV can be an exception though.

However STAY AWAY FROM ALONE IN THE DARK FOR WII

As for Alone in the Dark, I've heard.

It's a shame. As I've been told it was where the survival horror genre started. But the newer ones just...well, they sucked (The New Nightmare on PSone/PS2 for example

The truth is asking about Wii on a PS3 site will get you biased opinions against is and asking on a Wii site will get you biased opinions for it, you have ti filter through it all and find the people who give reasons generally to both sides of the argument.

The biggest problem is number 3.

Once upon a time choosing Nintendo or another console was whether or not you wanted to play Mario & Zelda or Crash Bandicoot & Gran Turismo

The rest of the games were pretty much the same.

Now third party companies are completely neglecting the wii so its a question of do I play Mario Kart and Animal Crossing or do I play 10-15 good titles.

For me I will always choose Nintendo because I will never give up the opportunity to play Mario Kart, Animal Crossing or Zelda.

But if you play games regularly and find third party games can match or better Nintendo's offerings, then forget the wii.

Well, if you've already got a PS3, then the Wii will make everything complete.

You might find the graphics a bit of a step-down from the PS3, but the control system is much better, and usually more intuitive. I spent a couple of months hesitating and wondering, but I'm really glad I made that choice to get it.

According to a MyPS3 members avatar we have cookies.

Anyway, graphics aren't really important to me. As long as a game is fun, and has a great story line I'm happy.

Oh, I also have a PS2, PSP, and DS.

To tell you the truth I don't play my PS3 often.

My PS2 gets played (and dusted) more often than my PS3. So far there aren't many games on PS3 that interest me.

@iaculch, I haven't really thought about using a wii for a party console either.
A friend has one on lay buy though. If I can convince him I may be able to kick his butt. Oh, and get to try some wii games. lol

For now I can't really afford to buy anything

so I'll be waiting. I'm just doing a bit of research on what to get once I can afford it. But if Project Zero 4 is any good then I'll probably get a wii regardless.

I know someone asked the Nintendo guys at E3 about it and they didn't even know the game existed or what the series is about, Suda51 wouldn't be happy about it.
